College Applications

Something new: This is the first year that the PSAT will be administered on the Tamiscal and San Andreas campus. It will be given on Saturday, October 21.

The PSAT/NMSQT measures skills that are imprtant for success in college. It allows students to practice for the SAT's and to get feedback about critical academic skills. High scores will become eligible for National Merit Scholarships. All college bound juniors should take this test and sophmores may take it if they wish. If your sophmore or junior is interested, s/he must sign up in Room 2. The non-refundable fee is $20.00.

Students with disabilities: who will need special accomodations must come into the career center the first week of September to fill out the eligibility form. Now, if approved, one common form covers all tests administered by the College Board (PSAT, SAT, & AP), but it must be postmarked by Sept. 12. There is no time to waste!
