Tamiscal’s All-School Prom will be on Sunday, March 20, 2007, at the Stone Tree Golf Club. Parents are needed as chaperones and on the decoration committee.

When you buy books, books on tape, travel items, calendars, cards, maps, CDs at Book Passage in Corte Madera (or from their website), ask for the Tamiscal “school link” and 5% of your sale is sent to Tamiscal. PARENT-TO-PARENT CONNECTION (p2p)
Parent-to-Parent Connection (“p2p”) is a support group for parents of high school students with special educational needs, including students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans. We offer education, support from other parents, and the chance to communicate with the District. Our monthly p2p meetings offer education and information from professional speakers on a wide variety of topics, such as college and non-college post-graduation options for kids not “on the Ivy League track.”

In addition to providing support and education, p2p also acts as a liaison with the District. A parent representative from each high school meets monthly with the TUHSD District Directors of Instruction and of Special Education in order to plan p2p meetings and also to voice parents’ questions and concerns.
