Website Links:
- This website is a very rich one. It will link you to the various
Mythologies
of Mesopotamia: It also contains links to material on The
Epic of Gilgamesh.
- This is The
Metropolitan Museum’s website on Mesopotamia. Be sure
to click on the art pieces to see them more closely and to read
the background info. Great site.
- This website has some images from the Oriental
Institute at the University of Chicago of wonderful Artifacts
from Mesopotamia (Iraq). Enjoy.
- What I like at this website are the Maps
that show Ancient Mesopotamia and Mesopotamia today.
- This is Fordham’s website on the Ancient
Civilization. It is almost too rich but there are so many
great links I had to include it.
- The Electronic
Text Corpus of Sumerian Literature. It is somewhat confusing
to use, but it is still interesting. Begin by clicking on the
name of King Shulgi. The text of his observations appears in a
phonetic form in the Sumerian language. Click on the translation
button at the bottom of the work to read its English translation.
- Description of the Royal
Game of Ur.
