I. Student Learning Outcomes
All Tamiscal language courses share the purpose of helping students to communicate in a foreign language, develop an interest in foreign cultures, gain an understanding of how cultures are reflected in the language, and gain new perspectives on their own cultures through the study of others.
For specific outcomes for this course refer to the Course of Study.
II. Activities More advanced lessons from Perspectivos, The Amsco Spanish review of grammar three-four years
Continuation of Spanish and Latin American literature. Selected chapters from Don Quijote reader.
III. Resources
In addition to the textbook, students are expected to utilize Tamiscal Homepage links, the internet, Electric Library, District and County libraries, CDs, Videos, and relevant media.

VI. Progress Monitoring
Progress will be monitored at weekly meetings; therefore, attendance is required. Missed appointments, tests, and assignments will result in partial course credits and may result in required attendance to Supervised Independent Study (SIS).
Grades and credits will be reported at the
quarter and end of the semester.
