Mr. James Clark, Manager, Best Burgers Restaurant, 497 Solder Lane, Novato, CA 94947
Dear Mr. Clark
I have been a customer at Best Burgers for many years, and probably eaten hundreds of meals from your restaurant. In all of the times that I have stopped by to get a quick dinner, I have never found my meal to be anything but the best. That was, until last night. On the way home from school yesterday evening I stopped by your restaurant where I ordered my usual Best Burgers dinner. As always, I asked for my order “to go” and did not look at it until I arrived at my home. That is when I discovered that my meal from Best Burgers was the worst! The following table summarizes the problems:
ITEM ORDERED ITEM RECEIVED PRICE PAID
Hamburger Chicken burger
$1.89
Fries
Onion rings $1.19
Milkshake Water $1.79
As you can see, this was not one of my better meals. Since I was the only customer at Best Burgers when I ordered my dinner, it does not seem possible that I could have received another person’s meal. An occasional mix-up I can understand, but completely fouling up my order seems beyond comprehension.
Once again, I would appreciate any assistance you could give me. I would like to continue to be a Best Burgers customer and to be able to order my dinners with confidence
Sincerely [Your name]
